This antler was probably rolled and polished in the sea. This antler has had all the upper parts removed leaving only the beam and the crown tine remain. The end of the tine is broken away. The inside edge of the beam, close to the tine/pick, has rough wear and scratches, possibly from stone and debris coming up from the soil the pick was used to dig into. The base of the antler is also missing meaning it may not have been naturally shed.
