Surgical corset
Pink cotton surgical corset. Boned and padded with a pink velour patch to support back. Fastened with twelve silver metal hooks and loops at the proper left side. Tightened using pink cotton lacing across the stomach. Three extra straps for further tightening, either side of the lacing and across the lacing. Four suspender holders sewn to the bottom edge. Two shoulder straps also padded with velour. Labelled: 'National Health Service Acts 1946 Spencer (Surgical supplies) Ltd Banbury Oxon'.
