Ingot (fragment)
Part of an ingot of Linotype metal with 3% tin, 11% antimony and 86% lead. Linotype metal has to stand up to considerable pressure during the making of the papier mache moulds but has not to be so strong as the metal used for Monotype or Case-type casting.
