Readhead & Sons Ltd., South Shields, for Strick Line Ltd., part of the P&O Group. 1963 – Transferred to Shahristan Steamship Co Ltd., (also part of the P&O Group). 1967 – Sold to Astro Acendente Cia Nav SA, Greece, and renamed ASTROMAR. 1967 – Renamed ARIS (same owners). She was broken up at Shanghai in 1971. (P&O Heritage site)
