Chest of drawers made of chestnut around 1860 by Evan Thomas. Evan lived in Nantwallter, Taliaris from 1870 after he married Mary, who lived there with her parents. In 1871, Evan became the tenant of the 12 acre smallholding on the Taliaris estate. He also worked as a labourer for the estate, mainly as a thatcher and tiler. Evan and Mary had eight children but Mary and her ninth child died in 1899.
