Drug jar and cover, buff earthenware, trumpet foot, cylindrical body swelling above and below a band waist, short slightly everted collar neck, flat-edged domed cover with a mushroom finial; painted in-glaze, the upper and lower part of the body with widely spaced vertical stripes of narrow pale blue, dark blue and yellow lines enclosing a dark brown wavy line, the wide spaces in between painted with orange flowers amidst green foliage, the centre band inscribed 'Ellec Diacathol dupl' enclosed by a narrow pair of blue and orange bands, further orange and yellow bands around foot; similar striped decoration to cover with narrow bands of orange, yellow and blue around the rim and finial, opaque tin-glaze.
