M.V. S.A. ZEBEDIELA (6361GT). Refrigerated vessel built 1968 by Verolme Schpsw., Heusden, Holland, with 8-cylinder M.A.N. diesel engine, for Safmarine for the export of South African fruit. 1977 – Renamed ZEBEDIELA (same owner). 1979 – Sold to British & Commonwealth Shipping Co.(?), and renamed MELTEM UNIVERSAL. 1982 – Sold to Abdullah Abbar & Ahmed Zainy Cold Stores, Jeddah, and renamed AL MAREEKH, managed by C.I. Shipping Ltd. (formerly Cayzer, Irvine). 1985 – Sold to World Wide Reefers, Nassau, and renamed MELTEM. She was broken up at Alang in July 1993.
