Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A scrapbook containing newspaper cuttings of the Queen's visit to Aberystwyth, 31 May 1996. She had been invited to open a new extension at the National Library of Wales and to visit the University. The visit was abandoned due to a protest outside the National Library. The scrapbook was compiled by R. Arwel Jones - a student at the time and member of Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg (Welsh Language Society).
