Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A flat oak box, the lid hinged with wire loops. Front carved with spirals. There is a sheet-iron lock, hasp on underside of lid is broken.
This box has a simple scratch-carved circular scroll design. It has been achieved by marking out with a compass first and then following through using a knife.
