Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Welsh Folk Museum Answer Book ,1963, received from John Parry, Llanrug, containing notes on daily life in the Fachwen area of Llanddeiniolen, Caernarvonshire between 1900-1916. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
