Roman samian bowl
A samian bowl sherd of form Dr37. Southern Gaul. The sherd is a deep pink ware with a dull, dark red gloss. The moulding is faint and blurred, but there is a double frieze of festoons and tassels. A chariot and horses to the right above (O.1171).
