M.V. LONDON SPIRIT, negative

¾ Starboard bow view of M.V. LONDON SPIRIT.

Built 1952 by Sir James Laing Ltd, Sunderland (with a 4-cylinder Doxford type engine built by North Eastern Marine Engineering Co. (1938) Ltd., Wallsend) for London & Overseas Freighters Ltd. 6 May 1965 - Sold to Mayfair Tankers Ltd of Liberia, (managed by Mavroleon Brothers Ltd of London) and renamed SALAMIS sailing under the Greek flag. She was sold for breaking to Ya Chou Steel Manufacturing Co Ltd of Taiwan in May 1970, work commencing at Kaohsiung in June.
