Jug, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body with three raised rings around the lower body, cylindrical neck, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, scrolled and foliate-moulded loop handle with raised thumb-spur and further inner and outer spurs lower down, the exterior body sprigged in white clay with three classical designs, one showing three winged figures, one showing two male figures carrying another male figure, and one showing several small figures riding in a chariot, the exterior neck sprigged in white clay with two sprays of vine leaves and grapes, a beaded band around the exterior lip-rim; the exterior of the jug and the interior neck and spout covered all over with a copper lustre, apart from the sprigged areas which are highlighted with pink lustre.
