Plate, octagonal, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a foot rim, with straight spreading sides, and everted lip with eight notches; transfer-printed with the 'Famille Rose' pattern - oriental style design of flowering plants issuing from rockwork; filled in with famille rose coloured enamels ; an iron red and gilt patterned surround, with four reserves of pink petals; flower sprigs around the edge, and a 'Vandyke' patterned lip in gilt with iron red outline.
