Pot, coffee
Body in the form of an inverted cone, truncated, concave shoulder and standing on a spreading rectangular foot with rounded corners. Flat base. Applied with simple curved spout and scroll handle with outer spur issues from two sockets. The hinged lid domed and surmounted by a flat rectangular finial. Dark crimson japan, decorated below shoulder with a leafy border within encircling bands of red and those effecting gold. Similar bands to foot and lid. Varnished and crazed. Black japan to handle and base.
