Teapot, cover and stand

Teapot, greyish-buff coloured dry-bodied stoneware, circular shape with cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides, flat shoulder and cylindrical neck, cannon spout, high loop handle, around the lower body of the teapot a broad band of vertical engine-turned banding with above an applied frieze of classical figures, animals and flowering plants, round domed cover with around the side a band of vertical engine-turned banding, to the top of the cover a ball finial surrounded by scrolling foliage, a pierced steam hole to one side; a border of green and black chevrons around the shoulder of the teapot, silvered bands around the body of the teapot, the handle and the rim of the cover, the tip of the spout silvered and with green chevrons, the finial silvered. The tip of the spout chipped. Stand, greyish-buff coloured stoneware, circular shape with inset base and out-curving sides; a border of green and black chevrons around the sides of the well, a silvered edge to the rim.
