S.S. FULTON, glass negative

S.S. FULTON (1096 Grt). Built 1905 by Bergnes Mekaniske Verksted, of Bergen (Norway), yard no. 135. The ship entered service as Hardanger for H. Westfal-Larsen, of Bergen. In 1922 she was taken over by local shipowner Rasmus F. Olsen and renamed Fulton. In 1928 she was transferred by Olsen to his A/S Fulton. In 1939 she was transferred again, this time to Rasmus F. Olsens Rederi. On April 20th 1942 she was sunk at Stadt by an allied air raid, but she was raised and repaired. Eventually, she was broken up at Stavnager in 1960, having sailed 38 years for Rasmus F. Olsen.
