Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Reverse. The king on horse-back to sinister, in hauberk of chain-mail, wearing a conical helmet, his left hand holding a kite-shaped shield by means of an interior strap, his right hand grasping a long lance (on the original impression this is charged with a cross moline and three pairs of waving streamers); horse-trappings, breast-band, small saddle, stirrup, loose reins – much of the detail is lost on this impression. In the legend the letters HE are conjoined, unusually for English royal seals.
