Bow Porcelain Works

Figure group emblematic of the element Earth, comprising a standing bare-foot female figure, holding a cornucopia of fruit in her right hand and with her left hand extended. She is dressed in a loose robe striped with border of puce and dotted green, painted with flowers and foliage in red, purple and gold, and in a green cloak lined with yellow and with a red hood. Behind her is a recumbant lion, naturalistically painted in reddish-brown. The domed base, on four scrolling feet, painted in green and puce, and gilded.
