Pink quilted slippers made by Amy Thomas of Aberdare.

Made from synthetic (?) satin fabric. Inside lined with white synthetic satin. Leather soles with line of tooled decoration. Inner sole made from fleece. There also appears to be an additional stiff interlayer in between sole and insole, possibly made of leather or card. The outer edge of this interlayer is encapsulated with a pale grey braid fabric. This has been stitched to the upper fabric (along the outer circumference of the sole) with small handstitched overcast stitches using pink thread. The insole has been attached to it from the inside and the outer sole has been machine-stitched to it from the outside. All quilting stitches carried out by hand stitches using pink thread. Vertical heel seam machine stitched. Four petal flower motif on toe and plain diamond diaper pattern on rest of shoe.
