Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Tea cosy crocheted using cream cotton, rectangular with upper corners worked as a diagonal. Both front and back feature the words 'United' and 'Welcome Home' with a depiction of a warship in the centre and a British and French flag on either side. There is an anchor on the lower corners. A cream-coloured silk ribbon was threaded through holes in the crochet fabric along the edges and tied into a decorative bow on the upper corners. Only fragments of this remain.
