Fragments of unidentified animal bone.
Fragments of small animal bone likely of Upper Palaeolithic date (c.50,000-12,000 years ago) recovered during archaeological excavations of Long Hole Cave, Gower, Swansea in 2012. The assemblage is comprised of long bone fragments of various sizes and comprises of different unidentified species.

Notes: Context 1005: Dark brown/black humic sediment with no clastic inclusions. Interpreted as buried topsoil.
