Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
An incomplete inhumation of an adult male aged 33-45 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented west-east. A large chunk of limestone was found beside the upper body. Much of the torso is missing.
Elements present: Crania, mandible, loose teeth (pathology: an M3 in crypt is impacted, abscessed tooth), vertebrae, L and R humerus, unsided radius fragment, pelvis, R femur, L and R patella (pathology: osteoporosis/osteoarthritis), L and R tibia, L and R fibula, metacarpals/metatarsals, phalanges, miscellaneous unidentified fragments. Pathology: R and L elbow and metatarsophalangeal joints affected by gout.
MIcrofauna bones were identified during repackaging and bagged separately.
