Territorial Force record card sent to Mrs Laura Jones, Pendyffryn, Dinorwig, informing her that her husband Evan Wm. Jones has been appointed to 5th Battalion South Lancashire Regiment during the Fist World War. Evan W. Jones survived the war, but was later involved in an accident at Dinorwig Quarry, and died at the Quarry Hospital on 1st December, 1924.
