Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
A decorative lead alloy finger ring.
The ring has a thin, plain band, D-shaped in cross-section. On the bezel are three square-shaped recesses/ settings for stones or glass ( missing) set in a line horizontally but stepped. The central setting is larger, flanked by two smaller settings. Each setting tapers to a point and there is evidence of possible gilding in one of the smaller recesses.
The outer surfaces of the settings are decorated with an engraved scroll-like decorative pattern.
