Typed details in black ink on cream paper. Two page (stapled) article entitled 'The Bosun' on the M.V. EASTERN CITY.
(7612gt) : Built 1945 by California Shipbuilding Corp., Los Angeles, engine by Joshua Hendy Iron Works, for the US War Shipping Administration, Portland, Oregon (managed by McCormick Steamship Co.). Laid up at Beaumont from 1949 and later transferred to James River,Virginia. She was broken up at Recife, Brazil in 1986.
