Figure of the Duke of Wellington, white earthenware, blue tinted crackle glaze, standing on an egg shaped base. Figure largely white and gilt, in ? court military uniform of black shoes, narrow white trousers, close fitting high necked buttoned up jacket, sash across chest from right shoulder around waist wrapped round left arm and hanging down left side, fringed epaulettes on either shoulder, long cloak with a gilt spotted collar across shoulders, grey hair. Right arm hanging down holding plumed cocked hat, left arm bent resting on the mouth of a vertical cannon (cannon wheel broken). Gilt detailing on figure, including sash and epaulettes, very rubbed.
