Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Parasol with pale pink silk cover, made in two layersand stitched by machine. There is a ruffle at the top of the cover and one near the handle made form the same pink silk. Inside, there are metal ribs with a manufacturers label. The ends of the ribs are tipped with plastic, the tip ans base of the ribs are covered with a silk ruffle. The stick is made from one piece of wood which is tapered out towards the handle, painted white and varnished. The top spring is probably brass, The end of the handle is tipped with an orange plastic cap which has a carved flower design. The ferrule is probably brass.
