Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
mv INNISFALLEN at the Ro-Ro berth, with her bows door open. The berth was located in the river channel near the lock entrance to King's Dock, to facilitate a rapid turn around. When working to full capacity, the terminal was capable of handling 240 cars and 1200 passengers each way - each trip. To make the area as attractive as possible, it was landscape by the Parks Department of Swansea Corporation.
The M.V. INNISFALLEN was built in 1969 to inaugurate B. & I's Swansea - Cork ferry service.
