Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
These are remains from the Inhumation burial of a Younger Child (1-2 years)
They were buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented North-South. N-S burials are very unusual in the Early Medieval with only 8 burials oriented in this direction. Of those 8, 6 are children. Three of them are buried in the same location on the middle-west side of the cemetery. SK222 was a few meters further west of these.
The burial is from Phase G: 706-956 AD
