Schumacher, Johan Willem (at Loosdrecht 1781-1784)
Tureen and cover hard-paste porcelain, standing on a flat base, bulging sides in two steps, two sroll handles, domed cover with waved rim, acorn-shaped finial; decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt, on both sides with a spray of mixed flowers of blue, puce, orange and purple flowers and six scattered flower sprigs, gilt border to foot and dentil gilt border to rim; cover decorated with two sprays of flowers and three scattered flower sprigs, dentil gilt border to rim, gilding to finial and handles.
