Torso figure, white porcelain, sitting on a separate rectangular base, buff earthenware with white slip, the figure unclothed, the head small in proportion to the body and looking forward, the hands large in proportion and resting (right above left) in front, the base plain rectangular except for a flower moulded in relief to the right of the figure; details of the eyes, nose, ears, mouth, armpits and palms in dark underglaze cobalt blue, underglaze blue transfer-printed flowers around the lower part of the figure trailing onto the base at the back and from the left index finger, overglaze gold transfer-printed flowers on the thumb and two fingers of the right hand and the left index finger, also on the base beside the latter, 'pools' of liquid gold on the tips of the left index and second fingers, the tips of the right thumb and index finger, and on the flower moulded on the base.
