Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Several sherds from a small bowl. The moulding is very sharp. The ovolo is Rogers B 59, attributable to Ioenalis. The design is in zones, with a frieze of festoons, a straight chevron wreath and a basal wreath of triple buds and leaves, which are also used between the festoons. Within the remaining festoon is a small hound running to the right, which is not in Oswald. The leaf and bud is Rogers G 170 and the chevron G 324: both appear among Ioenalis types. Several sherds illustrated in S&S have similar schemes of decoration, close to those on many South Gaulish Drag. 37's. The hound figure type looks more South Gaulish than Central Gaulish.
Dr 37 is a hemispherical decorated bowl
