Since the 1950s, many of the most popular toys and games in Wales have been inspired by iconic BBC children’s television programmes.

Soft toy with battery operated mechanism inside. Figure is made to sit (but tips over backwards if not supported). It has black feet, a long snout, black eyes, pink round ears, and is wearing an orange bow tie in its yellow hair. It is also wearing a pink felt top which is printed in yellow and brown. Made from pink knitted material, eyes made from black plastic, 'hair' is made from strips of yellow napped fabric, bow tie is made from orange napped fabric. Inner ears are made from soft pink plush fabric. Fingers are made from 4 lengths of braided pink cord, ends of fingers are finished by heat/melting. Feet are made from black material. End of the snout is made from pink fabric. Back of the figure is fastened with Velcro to allow access to plastic battery compartment. Mechanism operates on three 'LR44' cell batteries. White printed label attached to lower centre back.
