Bottle, stoneware with an orange-pink matrix, the body is cylindrical and tapers at the shoulder to form a slender neck, there is a flange approximately 1.5cm beneath the lip, and the lip has been pinched to form a simple pouring spout; the glaze is buff in colour and is present on the exterior and interior surfaces, aside from the underside of the base which has a pale clay slip, the glaze is flecked with fine black grains; there is an unevely incised line around the circumference of the shoulder.
