Handwritten poem 'On some lines in a letter', Belgium, January 1945. Probably written by George Walton.
Reg Mickisch and George Walton met in 1949 and were together for over 60 years, passing away within a few weeks of each other in 2011. Their story features in Mike Parker’s 2019 book On the Red Hill.
