Tureen, soft-paste porcelain, circular shape with straight-sided foot-rim and rounded curving sides, to either side of the body twin vertical loop handles modelled in the form of two entwined plant stems which divide into two prongs at the upper terminal, moulded leaves issue onto the body from the upper and lower terminals, further moulded flower heads and leaves to the handles near the base and at the shoulder, round domed cover with flat collar-like rim, the top of the cover modelled with a large peach surrounded by cherries, twigs and leaves; painted in polychrome enamels with to the interior and exterior of the tureen and the top of the cover scattered sprays and sprigs of roses and other flowers in varying sizes, the moulded flower heads and leaves to the handles overpainted in puce, green, orange and yellow, the moulded fruit, leaves and twigs to the top of the cover overpainted naturalistically in purples, yellows, reds, greens and browns, a chocolate edge to the rim of the cover. The base and sides of the tureen and the top of the cover cracked and repaired.
