Tile, highly fired red earthenware body, irregular square shape; the tile has been glazed in dark brown on the upper face, the excess glaze has dripped down onto three sides, the tile has encaustic decoration in yellow, composed of five simple stylised, five-petal flowers between two parallel, curved lines, beneath which are two outward-facing paisley-style scrolls with three stylised flowers, probably tulips, between them; the back and sides are covered with residual plaster or a similar conglomerate material.
