Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Brown envelope containing specifications and correspondence re. a blowing engine for Cardiff Works. Eight specifications, four letters and a file containing photographs are contained within the envelope. Three letters from the Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company and one from Guest, Keen & Nettlefolds Ltd. (London Works), all typed on headed paper. Dated September 1915. Also included are eight specifications from the Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company for various boilers. Specifications are typed in black ink on white paper, inside grey card folders. Also inside the envelope is a brown card file containing six black & white photographs of Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company blowing engines. The envelope itself is addressed to Messrs Guest, Keen & Nettlefolds Ltd., London Works and is postmarked 11th September 15. Remains of two wax seals on reverse.
