Bowl of celadon stoneware, very narrow base with heavily chipped footring, conical shaped body with flaring rim; dark green celadon glaze, the interior moulded with a pattern of lotus scrolls, comprising a large lotus flower at the interior base, with six others around the circumference of the body, each flower with a border of interlinked lotus tendrils, against a scrolling ground pattern.
