Jug, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, angular scrolled handle; covered all over with a yellow glaze, this then transfer-printed in black with to either side of the exterior body a rural scene showing figures and sheep in a parkland setting with a country house and trees, the scenes enclosed by silver lustre borders, to the front of the exterior body a star-shaped motif in silver lustre, silver lustre bands around the lower body, shoulder and interior and exterior lip-rim, the spout and handle edged in silver lustre.
