Toby jug
Toby jug, buff-coloured stoneware, standing on a shaped base, the front of the jug relief-moulded with a crouched corpulent male figure wearing a cocked hat which forms the mouth of the jug, long coat, vest and knee-breeches, the figure holds a beer jug in his right hand and a cup in his left hand, to the rear of the jug a loop handle with foliate moulding; the jug glazed, a brown glaze around the upper part.
