Undecorated bronze armlet or bracelet fragment with expanded and domed oval to D-shaped terminal. Seen side on, the longest dimension of the terminal is in the vertical plane, with the flattened side inwards. The underside of the terminal is convex, joining the shaft 3mm from the top surface. The shaft or body is circular to oval in corss-section, showing irregularities and flat working facets along its length. The body has a broadly even diameter along its whole length, showing no signs of tapering near the break, whilst it shows marked curvature, indicating it was once part of a penannular rather than straight object. If the curvature remains true, it suggests the armlet once had a diameter of approximately 100mm, though it is possible that it became slightly straightened during breakage. The break appears ancient. Green patina.
