Jane Howells trained as a Pupil Teacher under the Board School elementary schools system during the 1890s. In 1903, she married Iorwerth John Howells and lived at 9 Evansfield Rd, Llandaff North, Cardiff. He worked for the Taff Vale Railway Company at their head office in Queen St, Cardiff. Mrs Howells died from pneumonia in 1911.
