Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Jar and cover, pale buff earthenware, flat base with slightly spreading foot, globular shaped body with short, upright neck and out-turned, rounded rim, domed cover with wide flange and rounded knop with central pip; the jar is decorated on the upper two thirds of the body in 'sancai' colours (green, brown, blue) on a white ground in the style of contemporary silk patterns, comprising a zig zag pattern infilled with blue and brown dots, and green and brown dots, respectively, some running of the coloured glazes, the neck and rim are in green, the cover has a design of green and brown ?stylised flowers against a ground of blue dots, the knop with brown and green glaze.
