Cup, coffee and saucer

Coffee cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, cup standing on a foot rim, tall sides, everted lip, ear-shaped handle; brown ground with black markings, decorated in polychrome enamels, decorated on the sides with three raised, moulded, shaped reserves each containing a harbour scene, one with two figures with tower and water to right, another with two figures with barge behind, building to left, another with two figures with ships behind, with a white border with gilt patternwork and scaling, gilt concentric line to foot rim and lip, gilding to handle. Saucer standing on a foot rim, flared sides, brown ground with black markings, decorated with three raised, white reserves, the centre with three riverscapes, one with two horses by a river, tree to left, another of a house with a statue in foreground, another with three figures on a harbour with ships behind, surrounded by a white border with gilt scrollwork and scaling, gilt concentric line to lip.
