Site Name: Ystradfellte, Powys
Notes: Original monument was formerly located on the edge of the Roman Road, some 5 metres S.E. of its present position. It was reset in the 19th century and again in 1940, in a rectangular pavement to the W. of Sarn Helen (the Roman Road that linked Neath with Brecon). Its position suggests a road-side burial in the Roman tradition. Stone also referred to as 'Maen Madoc' (AC 1939).
