Big wheel type. A bench on four stick legs wedged into bench top. The wheel 44" diameter is mounted on a post. The post holding the spindle is a vase shaped board tenoned through bench top. Original spindle clamps missing and replaced by leather straps. The whole coated with dark varnish.
