Group of people sitting in a sun house outside Dinorwig Quarry Hospital. Left to right: unidentified lady, Griffith Samuel Hughes, Florimond de Wulf (Vivian Hughes' uncle), possibly Dinorwig Quarry Hospital sister. Mr Vivian Hughes' father, Mr Griffith Samuel Hughes, worked at Dinorwig Quarry Hospital from the 1920s onwards as a dispenser, and was also in charge of emergency aid. He and his wife Marie Therese de Wulf lived as caretakers in the hospital until Mr Hughes' death in 1962.
