Early Medieval human remains
These are the poorly preserved remains of an inhumation burial of an adult of undetermined sex. The burial in Unphased. They were not buried within the Bronze Age inner mound but around its periphery and still part of the Early Medieval cemetery.
They are a rare example of a double burial, one of only five in the Five Mile Lane cemetery. SK73 was interred in the same grave cut as SK74, both in extended supine positions oriented West-East. However, both burials were heavily truncated which has destroyed much of the evidence.
